Joinery Furniture Interior Design
At Tischlerei Vater, we support you in designing your environment the way you want it. We are a 4th generation family business; Founded in 1897 at the location where we operate today. Over the years we have proven to manufacture furniture and room doors of the highest quality with attention to detail. We adapt our processes to the individual needs of our customers.
We cooperate with architects, project consulting companies and private customers. We have created spaces for many homes, shops, studios, showrooms, medical practices, offices, museums, churches and hotels.
Our company specializes in the production of furniture and doors mainly from engineered wood or solid wood. We have a wide range of experience in damp areas such as kitchens and bathrooms, including the processing of Corian.
We have a very well-designed machine park, the focus is on a CNC machining centre. In our paint shop we create high-quality surfaces in all variations.
We know how important it is to live in a healthy environment. We have solar panels on the roof; we use this electricity (depending on the solar radiation) to run our machines. Waste products such as shavings and leftover wood are used in a modern, high-temperature plant to generate heat. We are a "modern traditional company" and combine the best of both worlds.
We work mostly in the Cottbus-Berlin-Hamburg area, but sometimes also cover longer distances! If you are interested in working with us, contact us.

From sketch to reality
How do we cost the project?
Depending on the materials used, the complexity of the project, the labour required for
production, the distance to the installation site and the time required for assembly, we
calculate the price for each project individually.
How long would You wait for your furniture?
This depends on the availability of materials, current workload and the size of your job.
It is in our interest to work through each project continuously.
What materials and products do we use?
We process high-quality, certified wood-based panels, European, but also worldwide growing
solid wood and veneers. The final treatment of the surfaces ranges from bio-certified wax
oils to multi-layer paint systems, natural or painted in every nuance. For the production
of furniture we also use prefabricated coated panels in plain colours or wood decor.
